i have held a keen interest in computers and all things technical since i was at primary school. i remember watching the movie "war games" on tv and thinking how cool it would be to be able to do things like that.

i stopped short of hacking in to government and military computer systems, but i have spent many hours and days tinkering with computers, home entertainment systems and various other electronic devices, as well as writing the odd computer program.

my interest in programming grew whilst studying for my i.t. gcse and a-level, and progressed to web development during the placement year of my computing systems degree course.

away from computers, i have a wife and two young children who occupy most of my spare time. the rest of my time is spent pursuing various interests such as football, cycling, walking, live music, movies and fast cars. i am a keen supporter of crewe alexandra football club and play 7-a-side football regularly.
